Mystery Wine – S$10 Cooking White White!

A little mystery – and plenty of possibilities in the kitchen!

We occasionally discover a few forgotten bottles in our cellar. Rather than letting them gather more dust, we’re offering this 2018 Italian white wine for just S$10 per bottle, with home cooks in mind.

Our latest mystery comes from Umbria, in the heart of Italy. Made from a traditional local grape with extended skin contact, it’s a characterful, mature white for adventurous culinary experiments.

Try it in:

• Mushroom risotto or a hearty vegetable risotto

• White wine sauces for chicken, pork or fish

• Mussels or clams with garlic and herbs

• Slow-braised chicken or rabbit

• Pan sauces made by deglazing those delicious browned cooking juices

Why only S$10?

This is a cellar-clearance offer on an older vintage, selected for kitchen experimentation. Expect a mature style rather than the fresh, fruity character of a young white wine. A useful bottle to have ready whenever a recipe calls for a splash of white!
