The vineyards lie on \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cstrong\u003e\u003cspan\u003elight-coloured sandy, calcareous and clay-rich soils\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003cspan\u003e, with the grapes harvested entirely by hand in late September. ELAINE is named after a relative of the Gallino family who emigrated to California before eventually returning to the family’s Valle del Pozzo.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"isSelectedEnd\"\u003e\u003cspan\u003eThe wine shows an inviting bouquet of \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cstrong\u003e\u003cspan\u003esmall red berries, ripe plum and strawberry preserve\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003cspan\u003e, complemented by \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cstrong\u003e\u003cspan\u003eviolet, sweet spices, leather and subtle woody nuances\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003cspan\u003e.
