Nett - Pinot Bianco (Weissburgunder) AVANTGARDE 2025
Pinot Bianco AVANTGARDE 2025 is a powerful and sophisticated Pinot Bianco from the Bergdolt-Reif & Nett winery in Pfalz, made from Weißburgunder grown on heavy loess-loam soils. Part of the wine is matured in 500-litre wooden barrels and barriques, giving it additional depth, texture and a distinctive savoury character. With only 4.4 g/L residual sugar and 7.0 g/L acidity, it remains clearly dry, while the extended contact with wood creates a rich and contemporary interpretation of the variety.
The wine opens with a spicy, toasted bouquet and clear oak character, carefully balanced so that the wood never becomes dominated by vanilla. On the palate, it is powerful and multi-layered, with ripe notes of apple, grapefruit and pear supported by precise, well-integrated acidity. The finish is savoury and persistent, with fine creaminess and subtle sweet impressions from the wood extract, while remaining dry and clearly defined. A wine with presence, depth and modern style, showing how expressive Pinot Bianco can become with thoughtful élevage.
This is a distinctly gastronomic white wine, ideal with sophisticated dishes such as premium fish, game birds and fine veal. Its richness and texture also make it a natural partner for creamy pasta with truffle or a classic Gratin Dauphinois.
