Tasting Notes

A white wine with the body and structure of a red Negroamaro, combined with fresh acidity and aromas of white flowers, jasmine, and field herbs. Refined nose, intense, harmonious, and complex, with notes of white and fruity flowers, nuances of jasmine and wildflowers; on the palate, fresh, silky, and long-lasting, very well balanced with a perfectly integrated minerality; aromatic complexity of remarkable effect and persistence.

Vineyard

The Maccone line from Angiuli Donato focuses on using traditional, high-quality production methods, including grapes from old, bush-trained (alberello) vines.

Vinification

Soft pressing of the grapes and controlled temperature fermentation of only the clear, free-run must (mosto fiore).
